Goes to Show By Anthony Liccione
I am not a handsome face,
but I still believe in God-
I shook hands with a rich man,
while in line to buy bread and water-
If I had more time in a day,
I think I would be more forgiving-
While refraining from sidewalk cracks,
I accidently stepped on and killed an ant-
The graveyard is always following,
and still I avoid looking in the mirror-
Passion is about away as a pluck of a flower,
and many end dying, still attached to the stem-
Education is said to pave the way to success,
a poor farmer only wishes it would rain-
I recently heard that home is where heart is,
a patient awaiting heart transplant will differ-
