Dusk Light by George Coombs

Calm in dusk light
Lake mirrored slowly
Darkening sky
Here, there broke the birds
Good to sing in the fading light.
Winter edged wind moving
Gently among the trees.
Good to sing in the fading light.
Nature wore beauty of all life's oneness
Complete and at peace.
Good to sing in the fading light.
A boat on the lake
Moving away to the far shore
That quietly waits
Good to sing in the fading light.
